This is a picture of a small island in the middle of Lake Ann seen from the Heather-Maple Pass Loop Trail. The trail circles that lake up on a ridge and the view down to the lake is absolutely stunning. While we were descending the trail, I noticed the afternoon light was shining on the island and the Larch was lit up like a Christmas Tree. My wife and I hurried down the trail and jumped onto the .5 mile Lake Ann trail to get a lower profile picture. I was loaded up with one of my filter when we first got there and took this picture. After I saw it, I wanted to slow the water down even more, but by the time I got my other filter out, the light was behind the mountain. What a rush!! Photo © copyright by Roger A Pugh.

Acrylic face mounting is a fantastic way giving fine art vibrancy with superior color. The photo is printed on high-grade metallic photo paper, then face mounted to the acrylic glass so you're looking through the acrylic at the print. This process is unique in that light refracts within the acrylic (instead of passing through as it does with glass) resulting in an almost backlit appearance with the right lighting. Dibond Photo Mounting (Ready to Hang)

The Dibond process takes putting an image on metal to a entirely new level. Many metal products out there use a dye sublimation process which can leave the image less vibrant and sharp. Dye sublimation is where the ink is transferred from the paper to the metal using a heat press. Dibond takes the professional quality photo paper, laminates it, and mounts it to the aluminum surface. With a durable plastic backing and another piece of aluminum for a total depth of 1/8", it becomes a lightweight, and rigid piece of wall art. With a metallic paper, the image is vibrant, sharp, and a modern look worthy to be on your wall.

This 1" thick, diamond polished acrylic block is Leanne, my wife's, favorite. The price is right to place them all over your house or to give them as gifts. It uses the same face mounting process but being 1" thick allows them to sit on any flat surface without having to hang them. They are incredibly vibrant, and have a 3D effect.
