I often find myself looking at the big picture when trying to decide the right composition for my photo. A big mountain, a waterfall surrounded by trees, or even a bird in flight with the perfect bokeh in front or behind it quickly becomes the hero in my pictures. What I often forget are the simple textures often overlooked while focusing on the 'big picture'.
