I have photographed many different kind of birds, but nothing was as exhilarating as the day I spent with the puffins. It was actually parts of a couple different days, but I could've spent a week with them. They are so fast, cute, and relatively fearless. The sheer cliffs they lived on were straight up and down and very high, and they also didn't seem to mind us idiots with our cameras. Probably because they new we wouldn't get much closer. Their colors and their eyes make for some wonderful wildlife portraits. It was a little difficult to get them in flight, but I was able to snap shots of them as they stayed very busy. I haven't added many of the flight pictures to the website, but if you have interest in seeing more of them let me know. Definitely a day I will never forget!!
