There is something about a bald eagle. They are such magnificent birds and when I find one sitting on a perch or in flight, I struggle at getting the camera up as I just stand in awe. I have realized some interesting traits though as I have been photographing them. I'm quite surprised at how lazy they can be. Maybe it actually smart. I have watched them work with heron or osprey when it comes to hunting. There process is simple; let the heron or osprey catch the food and then just steal it from them. The heron or osprey may not appreciate being part of their work crew, but it is fun to watch nonetheless.
