Back in my high school independent photography class I had to create some black and white images. Since then, I have not had much interest in it. I have felt for a long time that color brings emotion and a much 'happier' picture. I'm not quite sure what triggered it, but I have started working black and white again, and I am finding that the emotion I feel much of my color photos are missing can be more dramatic in black and white. Some pictures are made for black and white, like and old schoolhouse on an empty field, so looking for and finding those opportunities brings excitement in a typical day of a landscape photographer.
